Remembering the Garden

by

Hey, Stephan here from Frankford and Norris, posting about the Frankford Avenue garden.
It is Memorial Day weekend. The garden is in nearly full swing-parts are in full swing, parts are evolving. It looks good; food and and fun are at every turn.
Here are some photos of a few of the garden’s highlights. They are a week old, so some things have vanished, others have appeared.

Here is some brocolli.

This is Dan. He and Rachel have worked really hard to get the garden where it is. Thank you!

Pretty flowers.

Check it out! Did you help plant the garlic back last fall? Look at it now!

Pretty, pretty. I get really excited about greens. Here are some red and green greens; one of my favorites, Ruby Swiss Chard.

Alright, there you have it, my first post, but look for a little regularity with the posting in the future.

The garden is going well, but we could use some helpers. If you want to stop by the garden, it  is on Frankford Avenue, just north of Huntingdon. Either Dan or Rachel are usually there. They are both very knowledgeable, insightful and fun to chat with. Come and learn, come and help.

Be well,
Stephan
