Water, Water, Everywhere

by

At the moment, I am far away from the garden and all its splendor, but I felt the need to give the Philadelphia water department its due. Dan and Rachel finally coaxed someone out to hook us up with the equipment we needed to start using the hydrant to fill up out water tower. The water tower is full and we now have a reliable, well, more predictable source of water. Since I am far away from the garden at the moment, I scared up some other water images from around the way.
I went to middle school (about twenty-five years ago) in that building in the foreground. It was a real hoot.

That green stuff in the foreground is grass.

Pardon me for hijacking some Jesus and making the figurative literal, or both, but:

Jesus sends 'em out
Jesus sends ’em out

Therefore said he unto them, the harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest. Luke 10:2

Hey, if you want to come and help in the garden, feel free to. It is awesome and fun. The garden is a couple of blocks north of Huntington on Frankford Avenue. Ask for Dan or Rachel, they will help you get involved.

Be well
